If you are able to understand everything that has occurred here in terms of data transformation, congrats, you have understood the gist of this APL code. What would take upwards of dozens to a hundred lines of code to do in other languages takes a handful in APL. It furthermore aligns to how I visualize the chunks being transformed into vertex data in my head, which is a nice bonus :-)
